Notice has been given that:
Ameresco Delaware Energy, LLC and the Delaware Solid Waste Authority, have requested a permit to extend five (5) existing exhaust stacks from a height of 32 feet to a height of 53 feet for five (5) existing General Electric Jenbacher Model JGS 320 GS-L.L landfill gas generators (one megawatt each) at the Southern Solid Waste Management Center located at 29806 Landfill Lane (Route 20), Georgetown, Sussex County, Delaware. The generator engines will not be changed or modified. Permitted emissions from each generator will remain unchanged. Each generator and exhaust stack will be permitted to emit 8.5 tons per year (tpy) NOx, 42.4 tpy CO, 2.4 tpy PM, 10.16 tpy SO2, 3.6 tpy NMOC, and 11.4 tpy HAP by Permit#s APC-2019/0056-C, APC-2019/0057-C, APC-2019/0058-C, APC-2019/0059-C and APC-2019/0060-C.

A public hearing on any of the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC receives a request for a hearing regarding that application within 15 days from the date of this notice, ending June 3, 2019. A request for a hearing shall be in writing. The request must also show a familiarity with the application and a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
