The Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control, Division of Water, hereby gives notice that a permit application for the construction of wastewater conveyance has been received concerning the following:

Route 71 Investments, LLC is proposing a duplex suction lift sanitary sewer pump station, two thousand four hundred and seventeen linear feet (2,417 LF) of six (6) inch diameter sanitary sewer force main, a pump station building, an emergency generator and related appurtenances to serve two hundred and twenty (220) single family homes located in the proposed Woods at Hidden Creek subdivision located west of Summit Bridge Road (Rt. 71) approximately one thousand (1,000) feet south of the intersection with Main Street in Townsend, Delaware.

A public hearing concerning the above application will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious request for a hearing is received on or before June 2, 2019. A request for a public hearing shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
