Vincent Farms, Inc. has applied to the Groundwater Discharges Section for an amendment to their Non-Hazardous Liquid Waste Transporters Permit DE OH-678 to include for the transport of non-hazardous liquid waste (barley wash water) to be land-applied in accordance with an Agricultural Utilization Permit on the following tax parcels: Graham Farm (3-32-7.00-6.00; 3-32-7.00-7.00; 3-32-7.00-8.00); Powell Farm (4-32-14.00-14.00); Walson Farm (4-32-12.00-14.00); Messick Farm (4-32-12.00-15.00); Joseph Farm (3-32-8.00-12.00; 3-32-8.00-12.01; 3-32-8.00-13.00); Arvey Farm (5-32-8.00-3.00).

A public hearing on the above application will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received within 15 days from this notice.  A public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
