The Department has adopted a plan regarding the clean-up of IRP Site 4B (Soil) of the Delaware Air National Guard Site located in New Castle. The Site is an active military base and a soil vapor extraction system was previously required to clean-up contaminated soil at IRP Site 4B.  The Amended Final Plan reflects the correct operable unit boundary for IRP Site 4B (Soil).

DNREC issued public notice of the Amended Proposed Plan for IRP Site 4B (Soil) of the Delaware Air National Guard Site on July 7, 2019.  There were no comments or questions from the public regarding the Amended Proposed Plan.  Details of the Amended Final Plan are available at the office of DNREC-Remediation Section (391 Lukens Drive, New Castle, DE, 19720), or online at http://www.nav.dnrec.delaware.gov/DEN3/
