The Department has adopted a plan regarding the clean-up of Operable Units 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, and 39 of the Hamilton Park/Pyles Lane Site, a residential neighborhood located in New Castle.  The plan includes the removal of soil within the top two feet below ground surface (bgs) in select areas within each operable unit.

DNREC issued public notice of the Proposed Plan for Operable Units 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, and 39 of the Hamilton Park/Pyles Lane Site on August 7, 2019.  There were no comments or questions from the public regarding the proposed remedial actions in the Proposed Plan.
