Shelah Branch Farms, LLC has requested an allocation permit for two proposed irrigation wells. The maximum daily withdrawal is 1,872,000 gallons per day. The wells are located southeast of Hardscrabble in Sussex County, near the intersection of Hardscrabble and Conaway Roads. Tax parcel 1-33-14.00-34.00.

Shelah Branch Farms, LLC has requested an allocation permit for one proposed irrigation well. The maximum daily withdrawal is 360,000 gallons per day. The well is located northeast of Hardscrabble in Sussex County, near the intersection of Hardscrabble and Tyndall Roads. Tax parcel 2-31-22.00-7.00.

Hollyville Farms, LLC has requested an allocation permit for two existing irrigation wells and one proposed irrigation well. The maximum daily withdrawal is 2,952,000 gallons per day. The wells are located north of Millsboro in Sussex County, near the intersection of Lawson and Avalon Roads. Tax parcel 2-34-9.00-34.00.

A public hearing on the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received by September 16, 2019, at 4:30 p.m.  A public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
