Regulation 1102 Permit Application: Suez Water Delaware, Inc.

Notice has been given that Suez Water Delaware, Inc. has applied for a permit (WT-2020/01) to remove exterior lead-containing coatings from an outdoor water tank by dry abrasive blasting. This activity will be located at:

I-95 and Naamans Road, Claymont, in the vicinity of the Tri-State Mall
Tax Parcel #: 0603700021

The application for this permit may be reviewed at the offices of the Division of Air Quality, State Street Commons, 100 W. Water Street, Suite 6A, Dover, DE 19904 and 715 Grantham Lane, New Castle, DE, 19720.  For additional information or for an appointment to review the application, please contact Tracy Mattson at the Dover Office at 739‑9402.

A public hearing on the above application will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC receives a request for a hearing regarding that application within 15 days from the date of this notice, ending February 3.  A request for a hearing shall be in writing.  The request must also show a familiarity with the application and a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
