Wastewater Facilities Construction Permit Application: Schooner Landing

The Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control, Division of Water, hereby gives notice that a permit application has been received from:

Schooner Landing, LLC proposes to construct a submersible sanitary sewer pump station, an emergency generator and approximately two thousand nine hundred and forty linear feet (2,940 LF) of four (4) inch diameter force main to serve one hundred and twenty-nine (129) single family homes in the proposed Schooner Landing subdivision located on the north side of Lighthouse Road (Rt. 54) and on the west side of Polly Branch Road east of Selbyville in Sussex County, Delaware.  The force main will be installed within Schooner Landing and discharge to a gravity manhole along the east side of Polly Branch Road about 0.5 miles north of the Rt. 54 intersection.

A public hearing concerning the above application will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious request for a hearing is received on or before July 8, 2020. A request for a public hearing shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
