The Delaware National Estuarine Research Reserve (DNERR) offers a day of free family fun at the Blackbird Creek Fall Festival every October.
The Blackbird Creek Fall Festival fosters stewardship of the Delaware Bayshore by celebrating the richness of estuaries and Delaware’s cultural traditions at our beautiful scenic site at the Delaware National Estuarine Research Reserve.
The festival is set for the third Saturday in October, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., at the Blackbird Creek Reserve in Townsend.
Due to public health restrictions related to COVID-19, the 2020 Festival has been canceled. The Festival will return on Oct. 16, 2021.
