Blackbird Creek Fall Festival

The Delaware National Estuarine Research Reserve (DNERR) offers a day of free family fun at the Blackbird Creek Fall Festival every October.

Blackbird Creek Fall Festival

Delaware National Estuarine Research Reserve

The Blackbird Creek Reserve is at 801 Blackbird Landing Road, in Townsend. Here are directions from the north or from the south.

The Blackbird Creek Fall Festival fosters stewardship of the Delaware Bayshore by celebrating the richness of estuaries and Delaware’s cultural traditions at our beautiful scenic site at the Delaware National Estuarine Research Reserve.

The festival is set for the third Saturday in October, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., at the Blackbird Creek Reserve in Townsend.

Due to public health restrictions related to COVID-19, the 2020 Festival has been canceled. The Festival will return on Oct. 16, 2021.
