The Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control publishes notices in Delaware newspapers to make the public aware of applications, permitting and regulatory decisions, enforcement actions, plans for cleanups, and other actions.
These notices may be required by state law or regulations, or may be traditional communication tools for regulatory and other programs. The Department also publishes them here, as part of its continuing effort to increase transparency.

Water Allocation Permit Application: GLH of Lewes (3/7/2021) - GLH of Lewes, LLC has requested a modification of its irrigation water allocation permit for one proposed irrigation well and two existing irrigation wells located south of Lewes, near the intersection of Gills Neck Road and Kings Highway. Floodplain Map Revision: Clear Brook (3/4/2021) - DNREC, in accordance with National Flood Insurance Program regulations, gives notice of the intent to revise flood hazard information, generally located between the confluence with Nanticoke River to Route 18/Cannon Road along Clear Brook in Sussex County.
