The Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control publishes notices in Delaware newspapers to make the public aware of applications, permitting and regulatory decisions, enforcement actions, plans for cleanups, and other actions.
These notices may be required by state law or regulations, or may be traditional communication tools for regulatory and other programs. The Department also publishes them here, as part of its continuing effort to increase transparency.

Wastewater Facilities Construction Permit Applications: Kent County Levy Court (8/2/2020) - The Kent County Department of Public Works has applied for a permit to upgrade Kent County pump station 20B to 10-horsepower pumps and to install approximately 4,680 linear feet of 8-inch forcemain. Federal Consistency Determinations: Eastern Shore Natural Gas (8/9/2020) - Eastern Shore Natural Gas Company is proposing to temporarily relocate a 10 inch main within a DelDOT right-of-way, create a 14,000 square foot temporary workstation, and create a 23-acre temporary contractor lay yard near the intersection of SR 8 and SR 15 in Kent County. Federal Consistency Determinations: USDA FSA Grain Storage Bin (8/5/2020) - The USDA, Farm Service Agency is proposing to provide financing to construct a 42-foot, 13-ring grain storage bin with 39,400 bushel capacity on a farm at 1027 Alley Mill Rd, Smyrna. Federal Consistency Determinations: NMFS Emergency Fishery Management Plan Rule (7/19/2020) - The National Marine Fisheries Service is proposing to use an emergency rule under the Fishery Management Plan for Coastal Migratory Pelagic Resources in the Gulf of Mexico and Atlantic Region to increase the recreational bag limit for Atlantic king mackerel in federal waters. Federal Consistency Certifications: Delaware Coastal Airport Shed (7/1/2020) - The Delaware Coastal Airport proposes the placement of a 12 x 20 foot pre-constructed, wooden shed on the property at 21424 Cedar Creek Ave, Georgetown.
