Teams of middle school students from around the state will gather to build and race solar-powered model cars in the Annual Junior Solar Sprint. Location to be announced.
The Junior Solar Sprint is a statewide challenge of ingenuity, engineering, and speed. It is part of a national competition and is co-sponsored in Delaware by the Division of Climate, Coastal, & Energy and the Delaware Technology Student Association.
The location for the event is not yet set. If conditions do not allow for an in-person event, there will be a virtual competition.
Details, deadlines and other information will be sent to participating schools as they are finalized.
