Mountaire Farms of Delaware, Inc., has submitted air quality permit applications to replace a baghouse and to replace pellet cooler at the Mountaire facility in Millsboro. (Public Comment Period Closed)

Mountaire Farms of Delaware, Inc., has submitted two natural minor permit applications for their facility located at 29106 John J. Williams Highway, in Millsboro.

An application to replace an existing hammermill baghouse with an AirLanco baghouse with 99.99% efficiency by Permit# APC-2014/0093-CONSTRUCTION (Amendment 4). Permitted emissions will remain unchanged at 4.98 TPY PM10.

An application to replace an existing pellet cooler with an electric pellet cooler with an existing high efficiency cyclone collector by Permit# APC-2014/0090-CONSTRUCTION (Amendment 2). The existing high efficiency cyclone was determined to meet Best Available Control Technology (BACT) for PM2.5 satisfying 7 DE Admin. Code 1125, Minor New Source Review. Permitted emissions will remain unchanged at 16 TPY PM10.
