Earn your Delaware Boating Certificate with this one-day course.

This one-day course, offered by the Nanticoke River Sail & Power Squadron, is part of the Delaware Boating Safety program.

The well-known course is a joint effort of the Power Squadron and the Delaware Division of Fish and Wildlife. Anyone born after January 1, 1978, must successfully complete a course to operate a boat in Delaware waters. It also has become popular in recent years because successful graduates receive a Delaware Boating Safety Certificate. That certificate frequently can earn graduates a discount on their boat insurance.
