Join DNREC staff at the Blackbird Creek Reserve for some back porch birding. Be a part of the Big Year.

Enjoy a beautiful morning at the Blackbird Creek Reserve and engage in some birding on the Reserve’s back porch as part of the DNERR Big Year.

The DNERR education team will demonstrate some basic birding techniques and how to distinguish birds.

This program is free. Please pre-register by July 25, 2022.

There are three stairs to access the porch area. Please bring your own binoculars for birding and dress appropriately for the weather.
