Allen Harim Foods, LLC (Harbeson) has requested a renewal of its industrial water allocation for four existing industrial wells and one existing public well. The maximum daily withdrawal is 2,300,000 gallons per day. The wells are located south of Harbeson in Sussex County, near the intersection of Harbeson Road and Lewes Georgetown Highway. Tax parcel 235-30.00-97.00.
Those wishing to offer verbal comments during DNREC virtual public hearings must pre-register no later than noon on the date of the virtual hearing at de.gov/dnreccomments or by telephone at 302-739-9295.
The Department will accept public comment through the close of business on Thursday, April 8, 2021. Comments will be accepted in written form via email to DNRECHearingComments@delaware.gov, using the online form at de.gov/dnreccomments, or by U.S. mail to the address below.
