The Nature Conservancy and the with National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) partnered to develop a new tool to help managers and residents identify where more natural techniques can stabilize their shorelines. The tool is based on research on shorelines in the southern Pamlico, Core and Bogue Sounds and the New River Estuary in North Carolina.
