Alek Modjeski of the American Littoral Society, will provide overview of littoral estuarine habitat restoration emphasizing the importance of community engagement and involvement in the restoration process. The presentation will cover his recipe for successful habitat restoration and the importance of public/private partnerships. It will include a number of case studies of projects conducted throughout the New Jersey coastal area focusing on the application of living shoreline restoration practices.
