Permit Application

Notice has been given that:

Mealy Funeral Homes and Crematory requests a permit to operate a natural gas fired crematory at their 313 Robinson Lane Wilmington, DE 19805 facility. This crematory is adjacent to their existing operation at 312 Robinson Lane. The crematory will be permitted to emit 0.765 tons per year (TPY) of particulate matter (PM), 0.583 TPY of nitrogen oxides (NOx), 0.483 TPY of carbon monoxide (CO), 0.355 TPY of sulfur dioxide (SOx), 0.05 TPY of total organic compounds (TOCs) by Permit: APC-2022/0065-Construction.

A public hearing on any of the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC receives a request for a hearing regarding that application within 15 days from the date of this notice, ending Monday, March 28. 2022. A request for a hearing shall be in writing. The request must also show a familiarity with the application and a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
