Please note that this legal notice is an update to the notice advertised on September 25, 2022. This update removes Coastal Crossing (Americana Bayside): 28631 Coastal Cove Way, Selbyville, DE (Tax Map Parcel # 533-19.00-1481.00 through 1509.00) from the list of locations for which a permit is being applied for.

Notice has been given that:

Bunting & Murray Construction Corporation, requests a permit amendment to operate one (1) Morbark 3800 XL Wood Grinder at the following locations:

The Estuary: 36863 Camp Barnes Road, Frankford, DE (Tax Map Parcel # 134-19.00-105.05)

Millville Organic Center: 30916 Whites Neck Road, Millville, DE 19967 (Tax Map Parcel # 134-12.00-2.00)

Mayapple: Sussex County (Tax Map Parcel # 533-19.00-289.05)

Inland Bays: 31452 LB Lane, Bethany Beach, DE 19930 (Tax Map Parcel # 134-13.00-72.02)

Bay Forest: 30261 Sprogell Lane, Dagsboro, DE 19939 (Tax Map Parcel # 134-8.00-17.01)

The Wood Grinder will be limited to a maximum of 1,300 hours of operation per year in accordance with the requirements of Minor New Source Review. The unit will be permitted to emit 0.13 TPY of PM, 0.01 TPY of SOX, 4.83 TPY of NOX, 1.55 TPY of CO and 0.24 TPY of VOC by Permit# APC-2022/0024-CONSTRUCTION/OPERATION (Amendment 1).

A public hearing on any of the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC receives a request for a hearing regarding that application within 15 days from the date of this notice, ending October 17, 2022. A request for a hearing shall be in writing. The request must also show a familiarity with the application and a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
