Notice has been given that:

Christiana Care Health Services, Inc. – Wilmington Hospital requests a construction permit to install a 275 kW (464 BHP) diesel emergency generator E-GEN 7 at the Roxana Cannon Arsht Surgicenter located at their campus on 12th and Jefferson Streets, Wilmington, County of New Castle. The proposed emergency generator will provide back-up power to the building in the event of electrical power outages. The generator will be permitted to comply with US EPA regulations and Tier 3 emission limits under the provisions of Title 40 CFR Part 1039, Appendix I Table 3 Non-road by Permit# APC-2022/0067-CONSTRUCTION (NSPS).

A public hearing on any of the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC receives a request for a hearing regarding that application within 15 days from the date of this notice, ending Monday, August 15, 2022. A request for a hearing shall be in writing. The request must also show a familiarity with the application and a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
