Notice has been given that:

Intervet Inc. DBA Merck Animal Health-Intervet Lane requests permission for the installation of one (1) Cummins Inc. emergency generator, rated 500 kW (755 HP) at 29160 Intervet Lane, Millsboro, Sussex County, Delaware. The engine used in this generator set complies with U. S. EPA regulations under the provisions of 40 CFR 89, Non-Road Tier 2 emissions limits. Permit: APC-2022/0027-CONSTRUCTION (NSPS) (GACT).

The application for this permit may be reviewed upon request. The application is posted at de.gov/dnrecnotices. To submit comments, for additional information or for information regarding how you can inspect the application, please contact Tracy Mattson at (302) 739‑9402.

A public hearing on any of the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC receives a request for a hearing regarding that application within 15 days from the date of this notice, ending November 29, 2021. A request for a hearing shall be in writing. The request must also show a familiarity with the application and a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
