The Department has adopted a plan regarding the clean-up of Cavaliers Country Club Operable Unit (OU) 1A located in Newark. The Site, operating as a golf course dating back to 1958, requires surface soil excavation and disposal, and a deed restriction for the site, which will include a limitation to groundwater.

DNREC issued a public notice of the Amended Proposed Plan for the Cavaliers Country Club OU-1A on March 14, 2021. There were no comments or questions from the public regarding the Amended Proposed Plan.
