A Federal Consistency Determination has been submitted to the Delaware Coastal Management Program for the following: Amendment 23 – Summer Flounder, Scup, and Black Sea Bass FMP (2023.0007)

The National Marine Fisheries Service proposes to implement Amendment 23 of the Summer Flounder, Scup, and Black Sea Bass Fisheries Management Plan (FMP). The purpose of this amendment is to add the commercial black sea bass state allocations to the Mid-Atlantic Council’s FMP and modify the trigger for Federal in-season closures.

Comments concerning this Federal Consistency Determination will be accepted for 20 days from the date of this notice.
