The Department has adopted a plan regarding the clean-up of the 1039-1043 Clifford Brown Walk Site located in Wilmington. The Site has had various uses including residential use and office/commercial use from a local tannery. The Site requires a restriction on use of groundwater at the Site, capping of contaminated soils, and long-term monitoring to ensure elimination of exposure to existing Site soils and groundwater for future Site users.
DNREC issued a public notice of the Proposed Plan for the 1039-1043 Clifford Brown Walk Site on April 7, 2021. There were no comments or questions from the public regarding the Proposed Plan. Details of the Final Plan are available online at: www.nav.dnrec.delaware.gov/DEN3/Detail/FacilityDetail.aspx?id=10749592&piid=593520
