The Department has adopted a plan regarding the clean-up of the 707 South Union Street Site located in Wilmington. The Site has historically operated as a gas station. The Site requires a use restriction and a restriction on use of groundwater at the Site. Additionally, the Site requires the development and implementation of a Contaminated Materials Management Plan and a Longterm Stewardship Plan with groundwater monitoring.

DNREC issued a public notice of the Proposed Plan for the 707 South Union Street Site on August 22, 2021. There were no comments or questions from the public regarding the Proposed Plan. Details of the Final Plan are available online at: www.nav.dnrec.delaware.gov/DEN3/
