The Department has adopted a plan regarding the clean-up of Operable Unit 1 (OU-1) and Operable Unit 4 (OU-4) of the Eden Hill Farm Site located in Dover. The Site was previously used as farmland. Remedial actions at the Site include blending of soils with elevated concentrations of arsenic in a select area of OU-1, a restriction on use of groundwater beneath the entire Site to ensure mitigation of unacceptable exposure to existing Site soils and groundwater for future Site users.
DNREC issued a public notice of the Proposed Plan for OU-1 and OU-4 of the Site on September 19, 2021. There were no comments or questions from the public regarding the Proposed Plan. Details of the Final Plan are available online at: www.nav.dnrec.delaware.gov/DEN3/Detail/FacilityDetail.aspx?id=10756648
