The Department has adopted a plan regarding the clean-up of the Rails to Trails Cool Spring To Fisher Road Site located in Milton. The Site is a former railway that may have used contaminated fill. The site requires adherence to a Contaminated Materials Management Plan (CMMP) and the placement of an environmental covenant that will restrict the site’s use and the use of groundwater

DNREC issued a public notice of the Proposed Plan for the Rails to Trails Cool Spring to Fisher Road Site on March 27, 2022. There were no comments or questions from the public regarding the Proposed Plan. Details of the Final Plan are available online at: den.dnrec.delaware.gov
