The Department has adopted a plan regarding the clean-up of the NVF Wilmington Site located in Wilmington. The Site, once used as a tannery and manufacturing facility required a restriction of groundwater use, capping of all impervious surfaces including earthen basements, and adherence to a Long-Term Stewardship Plan and Contaminated Materials Management Plan.

DNREC issued public notice of the Proposed Plan for the NVF Wilmington Site on February 28, 2021. There were no comments or questions from the public regarding the Proposed Plan. Details of the Final Plan can be viewed online at: www.nav.dnrec.delaware.gov/DEN3/
