On-Site Wastewater Treatment and Disposal System

Richard Y. Johnson & Son, Inc. has applied for an innovative and alternative on-site wastewater treatment and disposal system permit. The system has been designed to accommodate 910 gallons per day generated by Dollar General Store. The site is located on 18404 Johnson Rd, in Lincoln, DE, tax map #230-6.17-1.01.

Non-Hazardous Liquid Waste Transporters Permit

Kuehne Chemical Co, Inc. has applied to the Groundwater Discharges Section for a renewal of Non-Hazardous Liquid Waste Transporters Permit DE OH-172 which allows for the transport of other non-hazardous liquid waste (process wastewater, treated so the pH is between 6 and 9), to be disposed of at the New Castle County Sewer System.

A public hearing on the above application will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received within 15 days from this notice. A public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
