Non-Hazardous Liquid Waste Transporters Permit Applications

Mobile Gardens (KDM Development) has applied to the Groundwater Discharges Section for a renewal of Non-Hazardous Liquid Waste Transporters Permit DE WH-160 which allows for the transport of septage and holding tank waste, to be disposed of at the Town of Laurel Wastewater Treatment Facility, City of Seaford Sewage System, and Clean Delaware, Inc.

Johnson’s Sewer And Drain Contractors Inc. T/A Roto-Rooter Sewer Drain Service has applied to the Groundwater Discharges Section for a renewal of Non-Hazardous Liquid Waste Transporters Permit DE WH-079 which allows for the transport of septage to the Sussex County Sewer System, Kent County Sewer System, City of Seaford Sewer System, Town of Laurel Sewer System, and out-of-state permitted facilities; and grease trap waste and/or cooking oil waste to be disposed of at out-of-state permitted facilities.

A public hearing on the above application will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received within 15 days from this notice. A public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
