Non-Hazardous Liquid Waste Transporters Permits

Sawyers Sanitation Service, Inc. has applied to the Groundwater Discharges Section for a renewal of Non-Hazardous Liquid Waste Transporters Permit DE WH-028 which allows for the transport of grease trap waste and/or cooking oil waste, septage and holding tank waste, to be disposed of at the Kent County Sewer System; New Castle County Sewer System; and out of state permitted facilities.

Atlantic Pumping Inc. has applied to the Groundwater Discharges Section for a renewal of Non-Hazardous Liquid Waste Transporters Permit DE WH-260 which allows for the transport of grease trap waste and/or cooking oil waste, septage, holding tank waste and portable toilet waste, to be disposed of at the Town of Laurel Wastewater Treatment Facility; Sussex County Sewer System; and out-of-state permitted facilities.

A public hearing on the above application will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received within 15 days from this notice. A public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
