The Department invites public comment on a proposal to clean-up the 250 N Rehoboth Blvd Site (DE-1749) located at 250 N. Rehoboth Blvd. in Milford. The Site operated as a supplier of agricultural products which have reportedly included fertilizers, fungicides, pesticides, and herbicides since the mid-1970s.
The site requires an environmental covenant which will place a limitation on groundwater withdrawal. In addition, the site will be required to comply with a Contaminated Materials Management Plan (CMMP) and a Long-Term Stewardship (LTS) Plan. The LTS plan will detail groundwater monitoring requirements. Finally, impacted soil will be removed as part of a hotspot excavation.
Details of the Proposed Plan are available online at: den.dnrec.delaware.gov/
The comment period ends on August 22, 2022. For additional information, please contact John Costa, Project Manager at (302) 395-2600 or via email at RS_Public_Comments@delaware.gov.
