The Department invites public comment on a proposal to clean-up the 3 James Ct. Site (DE-1733) located at 3 James Ct. in Wilmington. The Site contained a commercial warehouse space and had been used to store vehicle parts since the 1990s. The only apparent fabricating conducted on-site was a limited brake shoe/caliper-making operation in a small room at the rear of the building. Historic fill material had been found on nearby properties.

The site will be subject to an environmental covenant which will restrict the use of the site to non-residential type uses. It will also place limitations on groundwater withdrawal.
