The Department invites public comment on a proposal to clean-up of the South Walnut Street Right-of-Way Site located in Wilmington. The Site, used as a right-of-way for the South Walnut Street required the proper closure and abandonment of the on-site soil gas and monitoring wells; a site-specific Contaminated Materials Management Plan (CMMP); and, an Environmental Covenant restricting land-use to non-residential types, interference of remedy, limitation of groundwater withdrawal, and compliance with the site-specific CMMP.
