Subaqueous Lands Permit

U. S. Coast Guard (no relevant parcel IDs) – To reconstruct five (5) navigational aid range lights in the northern portions of Delaware Bay and southern portions of the Delaware River at the following locations: Reedy Island Front/Liston Front, Reedy Island Rear, Liston Rear, New Castle Front, and New Castle Rear. Range lights will be supported by 48-inch diameter steel jacket piles.

Delaware-Division of Fish and Wildlife (3-32-1.07-164.00 & 3-32-1.07-165.00) – To install a 6 by 55 foot long fixed dock, a 20 by 45 foot long concrete boat ramp, a 20 by 10 foot long riprap apron, and approximately 47 linear feet (~86 cubic yards) of riprap revetment for shoreline stabilization along the east side of the proposed boat ramp in Records Pond, adjacent to Willow Street and Cooper Street, Laurel, Sussex County, DE.

DRP DE 1, LLC (1-34-18.00-55.00) – To construct a connector roadway consisting of 634 cubic yards of fill over Williams Canal Ditch to access the southern portion of the Sycamore Chase residential subdivision and to install a 48 inch diameter by 81 foot long HDPE pipe and a total of 79 linear feet of rip-rap (~50 cubic yards) for shoreline stabilization and outlet scour protection in the Williams Canal Ditch at 35214 Bayard Road, Frankford, Sussex County, DE.

Louis Capano, Jr. (3-34-20.10-1.08) – To construct a 4 by 20 foot long pier, a 5 by 20 foot long “T” dock and to install a 24 inch diameter by 2 foot long portion of ADS pipe connected to a trench drain to alleviate flooding concerns along East Lake Drive and to install 80 linear feet of rip-rap (~14.25 cubic yards) for shoreline stabilization and outlet scour protection in Silver Lake at 21436 East Lake Drive, Dewey Beach, Sussex County, DE.

Subaqueous Lands Lease Application

204 Salisbury Exchange LLC (3-34-20.17-23.00 & 3-34-20.17-23.01) – To install a 12 by 14 foot long floating platform in an existing slip in Head of Bay Cove within Rehoboth Bay at 204 Salisbury Street, Dewey Beach, Sussex County, DE.

Mike and Beth Garvilla (1-32-2.00-98.09) – To construct a 4 by 100 foot long pier, a 6 by 20 foot long dock, and to install a boat lift with four (4) associated pilings, and a 6 by 12 foot long floating kayak platform in Deep Creek, at 10105 Concord Road, Seaford, Sussex County, DE

Please indicate in your letter whether your intention is to request a public hearing or whether you are simply providing comments for the Department’s consideration. If a public hearing is desired, please be advised that a public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
