The Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control, Division of Water, hereby gives notice that a permit application for the construction of wastewater conveyance has been received concerning the following:

Country Rest Home, Inc. proposes to install a duplex sanitary sewer pump station, a flow meter vault and approximately twenty-eight linear feet (28 LF) of two (2) diameter force main to serve the proposed Lincoln Retirement Community, which will consist of thirty cottages and an assisted living facility with twenty-five (25) two bedroom units and fifteen (15) one bedroom units. The proposed community is located at 18971 Johnson Road just east of Lincoln in Sussex County, Delaware. The proposed force main will discharge to a proposed on-site wastewater disposal system on the property.

A public hearing concerning the above application will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious request for a hearing is received on or before April 13, 2022. A request for a public hearing shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
