Wastewater Facilities Construction Permit Application: Town of Selbyville

Division of Water

Published: Jan. 13, 2021
Comments Due: Jan. 27, 2021

The Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control, Division of Water, hereby gives notice that a permit application has been received from:

The Town of Selbyville proposes to construct approximately seven thousand six hundred and sixty linear feet (7,660 LF) of ten (10) inch diameter sanitary sewer force main. The proposed force main will start at the intersection of Polly Branch Road and McCabe Court, then go through the proposed Coastal Villages subdivision and then run primarily along the north side of Polly Branch Road to the Selbyville Wastewater Treatment Facility at Wastewater Lane. The project changes the existing discharge location of the Lighthouse Crossing pump station from a sanitary sewer manhole at McCabe Ct. to the treatment facility. As a result, the project reduces sanitary sewer flow to the Town’s Polly Branch pump station.
