Wastewater Facilities Construction Permit Applications: Fernmoor Homes at Heritage Creek

The Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control, Division of Water, hereby gives notice that a permit application has been received from:

Fernmoor Homes at Heritage Creek of Jackson, New Jersey, to install one pump station with dual pumps; seven hundred and twenty five linear feet of two inch (725 LF of 2”) force main; and related appurtenances, to serve the Heritage Creek Phase 1 residential subdivision, located on Harbeson Road (Route 5) approximately 2000 feet southeast of the intersection of Route 5 and Heritage Boulevard, Milton, Sussex County, Delaware. The pump station and the force main will be installed within the bounds of the residential development and the forcemain will run westwards and terminate at an existing gravity sewer manhole.

A public hearing concerning the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious request for a hearing is received on or before December 27, 2020. A request for a public hearing shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
