The Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control, Division of Water, hereby gives notice that a permit application has been received from:

NKS Distributors Inc., of New Castle County, Delaware, to install a sanitary sewer E-one grinder pump station and approximately two hundred and four linear feet of one and a quarter inch (204 LF of 1.25”) diameter force main to serve a proposed warehouse, located at 613 Big Woods Road, Smyrna, Kent County, Delaware. The proposed grinder pump station will be located adjacent to the warehouse and the force main from the grinder pump station, will be directed westwards and discharge into an existing forcemain.

A public hearing concerning the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious request for a hearing is received on or before May 2, 2021. A request for a public hearing shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
