Wastewater Facilities Construction Permit Applications: Town of Selbyville

The Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control, Division of Water, hereby gives notice that a permit application has been received from:

Town of Selbyville, Sussex County, Delaware, to replace/upgrade two existing pump stations, the Lighthouse Crossing pump station and the Route 54 pump station, both located in Selbyville. The upgrades will provide additional capacity to serve nearby developments and will include two new pumps at each pump station, installation of controls, electrical, standby generators and related facilities.

A public hearing concerning the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious request for a hearing is received on or before August 16, 2020. A request for a public hearing shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
