Anchor’s Run Investment, Inc. has requested an allocation permit for one proposed irrigation well. The maximum daily withdrawal is 432,000 gallons per day. The well will be located southwest of Lewes in Sussex County, near the intersection of Beaver Dam Branch and Hopkins Roads. Tax parcel 234-6.00-19.00.

A public hearing on the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received by October 26, 2020, at 4:30 p.m. A public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
