Webb Family Farms, LLC has requested an allocation permit for one proposed irrigation well. The requested allocation is 0.34 million gallons (MG) per day, 5.43 MG per month, and 22.40 MG per year. The well will be located west of Harrington in Kent County, near the intersection of Whiteleysburg and Brownsville Roads. Tax parcel MN-00-169.00-01-38.00.

Charles H. West Farms, Inc. has requested a modification of its irrigation allocation permit for one proposed irrigation well and one existing irrigation well. The requested allocation is 1.008 million gallons (MG) per day, 18.247 MG per month, and 36.495 MG per year. The wells will be located south of Frederica in Kent County, near the intersection of Blue Jay Lane and Tub Mill Pond Road. Tax parcel MD-00-151.00-01-27.00.

City of Dover Electric Department (VanSant Generating Station) has requested a renewal of its industrial water allocation for one existing industrial well. The requested allocation is 0.083 million gallons (MG) per day, 2.5 MG per month, and 30.0 MG per year. The well is located within the city limits of Dover in Kent County, near the intersection of North Street and Enterprise Place. Tax parcel ED-05-076.00-01-07.00.

A public hearing on the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received by May 10, 2021, at 4:30 p.m. A public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
