Anthony Freeman has requested an allocation permit for one proposed irrigation well with a capacity of 1,000 gpm. The requested allocation is 1.44 MGD, 43.2 MG per month, and 86.4 MG per year. The well will be located 3.5 miles South of Lewes in Sussex County, on Robinsonville Road. Tax parcel 3-34-11.00-0045.00.

Tidewater Utilities has requested a modification of an allocation permit for one proposed public well with a capacity of 500 gpm. The requested allocation is 0.67 MGD, 18.33 MG per month, and 130.60 MG per year. The well will be located 5.2 miles North of Middletown in New Castle County, on Asbury Loop. Tax parcel 13-013.20-208.

Adkins, Inc has requested a modification allocation permit for one proposed replacement well with a capacity of 50 gpm. The requested allocation is 0.26 MGD, 7.8 MG per month, and 10.0 MG per year. The well will be located 0.9 miles South of Bayville in Sussex County, on Lighthouse Road. Tax parcel 5-33-20.00-0010.00.

A public hearing on the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received by January 05, 2023, at 4:30 p.m. A public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
