Steve Szelestei, Jr., Trustee has requested an allocation permit for three proposed irrigation wells. The maximum daily withdrawal is 864,000 gallons per day. The wells will be located southwest of Hartly in Kent County, near the intersection of Arthursville and Hourglass Roads. Tax parcel WD-00-072.00-01-58.00.

Michael Donovan has requested an allocation permit for one proposed irrigation well. The maximum daily withdrawal is 936,000 gallons per day. The well will be located southwest of Seaford in Sussex County, near the intersection of Bowman and Ellis Mill Roads. Tax parcel 531-17.00-9.00.

A public hearing on the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received by February 15, 2021, at 4:30 p.m. A public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
