Allocation Permit

H&H Tract has requested an allocation permit for one proposed irrigation well for 500 gpm. The requested allocation is 0.8 million gallons (MG) per day, 15.0 MG per month, and 20.0 MG per year. The well will be located North of Bethel in Sussex County, on Red House road. Tax parcel 2-32-04.00-0035.00.

Jerry Dukes, Trustee, has requested an allocation permit for one proposed irrigation well for 500 gpm. The requested allocation is 0.17 million gallons (MG) per day, 12.0 MG per month, and 20.0 MG per year. The well will be located in Laurel in Sussex County, on Mineral Spring Rd. Tax parcel 2-31-18.00-0047.00.

Coverdale Brothers has requested an allocation permit for one proposed irrigation well for 250 gpm. The requested allocation is 0.8 million gallons (MG) per day, 1.6 MG per month, and 4.0 MG per year. The well will be located West of Harrington in Kent County, on Cornish Rd. Tax parcel MN 00-178.00-01-38.00.000.

William Mack has requested an allocation permit for one proposed irrigation well for 500 gpm. The requested allocation is 0.10 million gallons (MG) per day, 10.0 MG per month, and 18.0 MG per year. The well will be located in West of Felton in Kent County, on Canterbury Rd. Tax parcel SM 00-129.00-02-20.00.000.

John Wilkins have requested an allocation permit for three proposed irrigation wells for 300 gpm for each well. The requested allocation is 1.6 million gallons (MG) per day, 24.0 MG per month, and 50.0 MG per year. The wells will be located East of Magnolia in Kent County, on Mulberrie Point Rd. Tax parcel SM 00-129.00-02-20.00.000.

A public hearing on the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received by February 14, 2022, at 4:30 p.m. A public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
