Allocation Permit

Reed Properties has requested an allocation permit for one proposed irrigation well. The maximum daily withdrawal is 1,008,000 gallons per day. The well will be located west of Ellendale in Sussex County, near the intersection of Beach Highway and Old State Road. Tax parcel 230-26.00-39.00.

Eleanor Joan M. Baker, Trustee has requested an allocation permit for one proposed irrigation well. The maximum daily withdrawal is 1,152,000 gallons per day. The well will be located northeast of Bridgeville in Sussex County, near the intersection of Angola Road and John J Williams Highway. Tax parcel 234-11.00-52.00.

Jesse Vanderwende has requested an allocation permit for one proposed irrigation well. The maximum daily withdrawal is 1,008,000 gallons per day. The well will be located south of Lewes in Sussex County, near the intersection of Sunnyside and Fawn Roads. Tax parcel 430-11.00-14.00.

Donald Passwaters has requested an allocation permit for one proposed irrigation well. The maximum daily withdrawal is 720,000 gallons per day. The well will be located southeast of Milton in Sussex County, near the intersection of Robin Lane and Harbeson Road. Tax parcel 235-26.00-3.00.

James L. Carpenter Sr. Family, LP has requested an allocation permit for one proposed irrigation well. The maximum daily withdrawal is 720,000 gallons per day. The well will be located northeast of Ellendale in Sussex County, near the intersection of Jefferson and Benson Roads. Tax parcel 230-20.00-27.00.

Alternative Method of Compliance

Russell Kirby has applied for an Alternative Method of Compliance under Section 12.0 of The Delaware Regulations Governing the Construction and Use of Wells to construct a Public well for a food processing facility. A public hearing on the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received by February 8, 2021, at 4:30 p.m. A public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
