Subaqueous Lands Lease

John and Maureen Godbout (5-33-19.12-61.00) – To utilize and maintain a 4 by 12 foot long pier, a 6 by 25 foot long dock, a boat lift with four (4) associated pilings and to authorize a 6 by 17 foot long floating dock connected to a 12 by 15 foot long dual floating PWC dock in Roy Creek at 37679 Pine Road, Selbyville, Sussex County, DE.

Robert J. Klerlein, II and Kristin D. Klerlein (2-34-24.00-78.00) – To remove an existing 8 by 20 foot long dock, to utilize a previously authorized 10 by 17 foot long dual floating PWC dock and to construct a 4 by 78 foot long pier, a 6 by 30 foot long dock and to install a boat lift with four (4) associated pilings in the Guinea Creek at 45 Creek Drive, Millsboro, Sussex County, DE.

Subaqueous Lands Permit & Subaqueous Lands Lease Applications and Water Quality Certification Request

South Shore Moorings, LLC (1-34-2.00-3.00 & 1-34-7.00-126.01-Disposal) – Proposes to relocate the entrance channel of a 92-slip marina to a location with greater depth and low potential for sand deposition to eliminate the need for frequent maintenance dredging. The applicant proposes to remove a 46 by 155 foot long (7, 130 square feet) existing rip-rap jetty, to construct a new 46 by 155 foot long rip-rap jetty (7,120 square feet), a 16.5 by 150 foot long (2,325 square feet) pile supported wave screen and to mechanically maintenance dredge approximately 2,000 cubic yards of material to -5.3 feet below MLW at the entrance channel of the South Shore Marina located adjacent to Marina View Court in Bethany Beach, Sussex County, DE and to transport dredged material via water-tight trucks to an off-site, upland disposal area located adjacent to Irons Lane in Dagsboro, Sussex County, DE. Additionally, the applicant requests for a Section §401 Water Quality Certification to conduct maintenance dredging and to fill (rip-rap and pile supported wave screen) 9,445 square feet of subaqueous lands associated with the reconfiguration of the marina entrance at the South Shore Marina, Bethany Beach, Sussex County, DE.

Beachside Builders, LLC (2-30-1.00-46.00) – Requesting a change of State wetlands map DNR-149 to reclassify 4,806 square feet of (M) Marsh area to (O), Other) to reflect current conditions at 480 Bay Avenue, Slaughter Beach, Sussex County, DE

Please indicate in your letter whether your intention is to request a public hearing or whether you are simply providing comments for the Department’s consideration. If a public hearing is desired, please be advised that a public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
