Benrus Stambaugh II – 134-7.00-95.03 – to construct a 4 by 227 foot long pier and a 6 by 36 foot long dock, and to install one (1) boatlift with 4 associated pilings, and two (2) 4 by 4 foot long floating PWC docks, in Indian River, at 33691 Peacock Point Road, Dagsboro, Sussex County, DE.

Raymond Yee – 134-7.00-95.02 – to construct a 4 by 242 foot long pier, a 6 by 32 foot long dock, and a 6 by 28 foot long dock and to install two (2) boatlifts with 4 associated pilings each, and two (2) 6 by 14 foot long floating PWC docks, in Indian River, at 33699 Peacock Point Road, Dagsboro, Sussex County, DE.

Subaqueous Lands Lease, Marina Permit

The Cove Homeowners’ Association – 1-34-5.00-477.01 – to utilize and maintain an existing 6 by 176 foot long pier, five (5) 2.5 by 12 foot long finger piers, and two (2) 4 by 30 foot long finger piers, and six (6) 5 by 15 foot long floating PWC docks, and to bring into compliance four (4) U-shaped floating docks occupying 333 square feet each in slips #1, 2, 5 and 6, and nine (9) 5 by 15 foot long floating PWC docks, and to install three (3) boatlifts with 4 associated pilings each, in slips #1, 9, and 10, located in Beach Cove, Zacharias Cove Subdivision, Water’s Edge Way, Bethany Beach, Sussex County, DE.

A public hearing on the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received within 20 days from this notice. Please indicate in your letter whether your intention is to request a public hearing or whether you are simply providing comments for the Department’s consideration. If a public hearing is desired, please be advised that a public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
