Permit Application

Notice has been given that:

Rohm and Haas Electronic Materials CMP INC., requests construction permit to construct a 650 HP Nationwide low NOX limited term boiler at their 451 Bellevue Road, Newark, New Castle County facility. The 650 HP limited term boiler will be permitted to emit 0.48 tons per twelve (12) month rolling period of volatile organic compounds (VOCs), 4.26 tons per twelve (12) month rolling period of nitrogen oxides (NOX), 4.35 tons per twelve (12) month rolling period of carbon monoxide (CO), 0.72 tons per twelve (12) month rolling period of particulate matter (PM¬10), and 0.20 tons per twelve (12) month rolling period of sulfur dioxide (SO2) emissions by Permit: APC-2021/0031-CONSTRUCTION.

A public hearing on any of the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC receives a request for a hearing regarding that application within 15 days from the date of this notice, ending November 9, 2020. A request for a hearing shall be in writing. The request must also show a familiarity with the application and a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
