Notice has been given that Suez Water Delaware, Inc. has applied for a permit (WT-2020/01) to remove exterior lead-containing coatings from an outdoor water tank by dry abrasive blasting. This activity will be located at:

I-95 and Naamans Road, Claymont, in the vicinity of the Tri-State Mall
Tax Parcel #: 0603700021

The application for this permit may be reviewed at the offices of the Division of Air Quality, State Street Commons, 100 W. A public hearing on the above application will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC receives a request for a hearing regarding that application within 15 days from the date of this notice, ending February 3.  A request for a hearing shall be in writing.  The request must also show a familiarity with the application and a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
